The King Khan of Bollywood was born on 2nd November 1965. His father Taj Mohammed Khan was a freedom activist and his mother Lateef Fatima was a magistrate. He did his schooling from St. Columba's school and graduated from Hansraj College in Delhi. He completed his Masters in Mass Communications from Jamiya Miliya Islamiya in Delhi and even did an acting course from Delhi's Theatre Action Group, under Barry John. On October 25th 1991, Shahrukh married Gauri Khan and they have two children, Aryan and Suhana.
Shahrukh started his career by acting in serials like Fauji and Circus where he was much appreciated. Right from his first film, Shahrukh made a clean sweep in attracting masses towards him. Most of his films have been box office hits. Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge (1995) starring Shahrukh Khan and
Kajol, was one of the most successful films and is still the highest running film in the history of bollywood. Having given applauding performance in movies like Darr, Dil To Pagal Hai, Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, Swades, Chak De!, etc. He is considered synonymous to superhit bollywood films. He also has his own production house named Red Chillies Entertainment.
Shahrukh Khan is one of the few Indian actors to have a wax-image at Madame Tussauds in London. More recently his role in Farah Khan directed movie 'Om Shanti Om' also went on to become a box office hit. With all said and done for this actor, the one thing which stands him apart from the rest is Shahrukh's modesty and down-to-earth attitude.
